A good result comes from good pressing and good care. Always follow the instructions on your product page, and check fabric compatibility before pressing.
Before you press
- Cut your designs apart from the gang sheet and keep the film flat.
Pressing
- Use medium pressure.
- Standard DTF: 300–350°F. Our DTF page recommends 320°F for 15 seconds.
- Glitter and glow-in-the-dark DTF: 285–310°F for 15 seconds.
- Use a heat press sheet over the transfer.
- Peel cold: let the film cool completely before you peel it.
After pressing
- Wait 24 hours before washing.
- Wash inside out in cold water.
- Tumble dry on low.
- Do not iron directly over the print.
UV DTF (hard surfaces)
Clean the surface with alcohol, cut out your design, peel off the backing film, place the design on the item and rub firmly with your fingers or a squeegee. Slowly peel off the clear top film.
